For those wondering why I’ve not been posting, I opted to take a bit of a break from Hallmark for the first few months of 2022. I got really burned out in December due to a very hectic schedule of my own as well as the pressure of attempting to watch and write up all of the movie (which ended up not happening – I had to skip reviewing a couple of them in the end).
After the first January movie aired, and I didn’t enjoy it at all, I knew I needed to take a break. Add into that, January became a CRAZY month at work as our office hired a new person that required a lot of training, and while the training was done by several people, I worked a lot of overtime in January and to be honest, I just wanted to come home and do nothing.
And so, one month led into the second, and in the end, I’ve decided to take a break until April. Trust me – I’m recording all of the January-March movies and with any luck I’ll have a few write-ups once I’m back. But I hope you will offer some grace and allow me this break for a few months.
I have at least one interview planned for the spring, possibly two, and look forward to bringing those to you in the future. In the meantime, thank you for your continued support!
Take all the well-deserved rest you need, Jane! You will thank yourself! xx
Can’t blame you a bit. Rest up! I also agree with the First movie of 2022..in fact I was anxious to see if you agreed it was a clunker. See you and your great reviews in the spring!
