A couple years ago I had the bright idea that I needed to create a Hallmark movie bingo game. I had it all planned out to make them myself (as an actual physical product with game pieces and real boards) and sell them on Etsy. I made up 10 cards and played with my family to see how much the cards would fill up and if a bingo would ever be made. As much as my family doesn’t like Hallmark movies (travesty!) we enjoyed playing with my bingo cards for several nights before they took their money and ran (we played with coins and I bribed them into watching by saying they could keep whatever coins ended up on their card by the end of the movie).
But then I discovered that 1) my idea wasn’t original and 2) most people were offering the cards for free downloads online, which meant that 3) no one was going to buy my cards! Oh well.
This year, I have decided to make the cards available for visitors of this site. They are Christmas movie specific, but not necessarily Hallmark specific so they can be used when watching the other network holiday movies as well. When I first created the cards I only had 10, but I now have a total of 15 Hallmark bingo cards available for you! If you get together with your family and/or friends to watch these movies, 15 cards should be plenty to add variety and fun to your evening.

When printing, I suggest the options of two to a page, fit to page, landscape. That’s a big enough size to read the squares and cover them with coins or any other marker you may decide to use! If you are feeling extra fancy and have a laminating machine laying around, consider laminating them so you can use them year after year!
I plan on using them this holiday season to add a little bonus to my reviews. I’ll be playing a card for each movie and will post a picture of my board to show how well it played. It won’t affect my scoring at all, but will just be a little extra. Be sure to play along! I’d love it if when I post my reviews you post your own Bingo card score in the comments!
Let the games begin!
Sound like fun!
Thanks so much for sharing these – I’m definitely going to print off and laminate to play with my family – I think we’ll use holiday m&ms as our markers!
That’s a great idea for a marker! Perfect choice for chocolate lovers. 🤤
Christmas Waltz was my absolute favorite of the season!!! I wanted to see it again but didn’t have a DVR. I searched and found a new service called Frndly. (That’s how it’s spelled!) For $5.99 you can record movies of your choice and watch them whenever. They only keep the recording for 3months.
This is disappointing so I’m trying to find out when it will be available on DVD????
Do you know when that might be? I would be so grateful for this information.
Carolyn, I imagine it’ll come out on DVD either this summer or in the fall.
This may be a silly question but how do you play? Do you mark the cards over time after watching movies or with the Hallmark channel? I love this idea but need a little help lol. I am so happy I found your site! Thank you. Happy holidays!!
Tara, that’s exactly how you play! And if you mark them with coins or buttons, you can re-use them over and over!
