I love Tyler Hynes, so for that reason alone I’m very much looking forward to “Winter in Vail,” which airs tomorrow night (Saturday, January 4) at 9 p.m. ET on Hallmark Channel. His co-star is Lacey Chabert, who I think may be a really good acting partner with Hynes, since he has amazing chemistry with pretty much ALL of his Hallmark co-stars. It also helps that Chabert is the consummate professional and can typically make even a less than stellar story a bit more palatable. Not that this one will be less than stellar – this one looks fantastic, and I think this movie will be a winner.
Not only that, but I appreciate that they clearly filmed at least a portion of this movie on location in Colorado and that it was genuinely cold while they filmed. They both shared photos on Instagram while on location and it looked SO. COLD. And even in the preview clip below you can see their noses were a bit red and their breath was definitely visible. But it also looks like a gorgeous location in which to film a movie, so…worth it?
Here is the plot of “Winter in Vail,” as outlined from the Hallmark Channel website:
Chelsea inherits a house in Vail. She meets Owen and gets a much needed break. Together, they put on Strudelfest to highlight the charm of Old Vail.
Will “Winter in Vail” do for strudel what “Christmas in Love” did for kringles? We shall see!
Here’s a sneak peek clip of what we can expect tomorrow night (keep your eagle eye out for Hynes’ Henley):
I am really looking forward to this one. What do you think? Are you excited about “Winter in Vail?”
