A Preview of “Nostalgic Christmas”

I have grown to love Brooke D’Orsay over the past couple of years, and for that reason I am really looking forward to seeing “Nostalgic Christmas” this Thursday, October 31 at 9 p.m. on Hallmark Mysteries & Movies Channel.  It doesn’t hurt that her co-star is Trevor Donovan, either!

Fans of these two will recognize them from prior Hallmark movies over the years.  Last year Brooke starred in “Christmas in Love” with Daniel Lissing, which was set at a Kringle factory.  Prior to that she was in “Miss Christmas” which is another one I like about a woman who is on the hunt for the perfect tree to put in Chicago’s main square for the holiday season.  As for Trevor Donovan, this year alone he has already had two movies: “Snowcoming” from Winterfest at the beginning of the year, and “Love, Fall and Order” just a few weeks ago.  Clearly, Hallmark is happy to have him in their family!

So what is “Nostalgic Christmas” about?

Anne Garrison visits her hometown in Maine knowing that this might be her last Christmas there since her dad is selling his long-standing toy store in town.  Keith McClain (Donovan) convinces her to co-chair the town’s Christmas celebration, and soon, Anne doesn’t know whether she should return to New York or take over her dad’s toy company and stay in the small town she loves with a man she has grown to care about.

I’m looking forward to this one!  Here’s a preview:

In addition to that preview clip, I have another one!  I had hoped to interview Trevor for this preview, but his busy schedule didn’t allow for it.  However, he was kind enough to give us a very quick shoutout after his appearance earlier today on Facebook Live with Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Channel from the set of “Home and Family”:

I've been a fan of Hallmark movies for as long as I can remember. In 2018 I decided it was finally time to write about it, and thus this website was born.
