It’s hump day – which means only one more day until new movies start up again! WOOT!
Next up in our preview week is “Christmas Scavenger Hunt” which stars Kevin McGarry and Kim Shaw. It is airing this Sunday, November 3, at 8 p.m. ET on the Hallmark Channel. Kevin McGarry starred in one of my favorite WinterFest movies at the beginning of 2019. It was called “Winter Love Story” and co-starred the adorable Jen Lilley. It was my top movie for all of 2019 until this past week’s “Christmas Wishes and Mistletoe Kisses” came out. McGarry is now a regular cast member on the Hallmark tv show, “When Calls the Heart” so clearly they know that people like him a lot. This movie also features Tom Arnold, who has played a dad in a few Hallmark movies over the years.
I love the idea of a Christmas Scavenger Hunt, and this movie sounds fun as well. Here is the plot, from the Hallmark Channel website::
When Belinda (Shaw) heads back to her hometown for the holidays, things get complicated when she is forced to team up with her ex, Dustin (McGarry), at the town’s annual Christmas scavenger hunt.
I am looking forward to this one, despite not recalling whether or not I have seen Kim Shaw in anything. Here’s a preview:
Does your hometown hold scavenger hunts for the holidays? That seems like such a small town thing to do. I can’t imagine something like that taking place in the Big City. *lol*
