It’s snowing in Memphis, TN again this year! Or at least, at Elvis’s mansion, Graceland. Now, it DOES snow in Memphis, although not a lot. In 2010 Memphis got 5 inches of snow in a single day, but since then they have averaged significantly less snow per winter season. So when you watch “Christmas at Graceland: Home for the Holidays” and see mounds and mounds of snow? Yeah. Not so much. *lol*
In any event, “Christmas at Graceland: Home for the Holidays” airs Saturday night at 8 p.m. ET on Hallmark Channel. It stars Kaitlin Doubleday and Adrian Grenier, with an appearance by Priscilla Presley as well. This is not Grenier’s first Hallmark movie – he co-starred with Amy Smart in 2017’s “Love at First Glance” which was a charming movie about a woman finding herself after finding a man’s lost phone on the subway. This is Doubleday’s first leading role with Hallmark, having previously had a role in “Chance at Romance” which starred Erin Krakow and Ryan McPartlin. But she’s been on a lot of other recent projects, including the TV shows “Nashville” and “Empire.”
Here is the plot, as outlined from the Hallmark Channel website:
Harper returns to Memphis for the holidays and nannies for wealthy widower Owen while awaiting news about a job overseas. Harper and Owen prepare for a joint event at Graceland featuring a fundraiser for Owen’s company and an Elvis at Christmas exhibit Harper is producing. They develop feelings for each other, Harper realizes how much she enjoys living near family and must decide if her home for the holidays will be her forever home.

I am not of the fan of the previous two Graceland movies, so I’m leary of this one. But it also has Adrian Grenier, who is a solid actor. I just wish Hallmark hadn’t given him that awful hairstyle for the movie. He’s a good looking guy – why make him have the Darin from “I Dream of Jeannie” hair cut? The picture on the left is the Adrian Grenier we all want to see, right?
