Coming up next for our viewing pleasure is a movie that was originally going to air in 2019 as part of the Countdown to Christmas schedule, but was abruptly removed by the network. Fortunately for us, the movie is officially back on the schedule and airing this Saturday, January 9 at 9 p.m. ET.
Lesley Demetriades served as director, which excites me as she was the one partly responsible for Two Turtle Doves and “Love Takes Flight,” two Hallmark movies I LOVE. The movie was also produced by Stan Spry, who I had the pleasure of interviewing and has produced many of the Hallmark movies I love. But not only that, the movie stars one of my favorite Hallmark leading men, Michael Rady (sadly, sans beard) and Aimee Teegarden, who last starred in 2018’s “Once Upon a Christmas Miracle” which aired on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Channel. I am VERY excited about this movie, y’all.
Here is the plot of “A New Year’s Resolution” as listed on the HC website:
The morning show producer makes a new year’s resolution to say yes more. She then cross paths with “Yes man”. He may hold the key to her biggest story.
Here is a sneak peek of what we can expect Saturday night:
I usually watch the Hallmark movies on a delay – usually on Sunday afternoons – but I think I’m going to watch this one live. I’m excited to watch it AND I think this one is going to be a winner.
What do you think? Are you excited about “A New Year’s Resolution?”
Very excited!
this one I’m honestly on the fence over –
I got hooked on Michael Rady in Christmas in Homestead but for some reason, the actress in this movie is so young looking compared to his more mature features, I feel like every time I see the promo I’m looking at someone getting involved with a girl that could be his younger sister so I’m a little bummed on the actor pairing but I plan on watching it with an open mind because I’ve definitely had my opinions changed before so its on my watch list – never know might become a favorite
