Fall Harvest has arrived, y’all! It begins on Saturday, September 19, 2020 with Hallmark Channel’s “Follow Me to Daisy Hills,” starring Cindy Busby and Marshall Williams.  Cindy Busby is no doubt familiar to everyone already.  Marshall Williams previously starred in Amazing Winter Romance during Winterfest 2020.

At this time I don’t know who the writer is, but I do know the director is Sean Geraughty, who appears to be a relatively new director and has never done a Hallmark project before.  So I basically have almost NO information on this movie other than the fact it was filmed about an hour outside Winnipeg, Canada!

Here is the plot of “Follow Me to Daisy Hills” as listed on the HC website:

When Jo realizes that her family’s general store in Daisy Hills is losing money, her father Duke calls in a favor to help. Duke’s help is Jo’s ex-boyfriend, Blake, former Daisy Hills native.

Before I make any more comments, I want to show you the sneak peek of what we can expect tomorrow night:

The preview basically gives nothing away!  All we know is he left Daisy Hills and she didn’t. *lol*  Well, we know from the plot description that it is a standard formula – family business in trouble, former boyfriend lends assistance.  But other than that, the preview was surprisingly vague.

What do you think?  Are you excited about “Follow Me to Daisy Hills?”  Can you even get excited when the preview doesn’t even hint at the plot? I guess we’ll see tomorrow night!

I've been a fan of Hallmark movies for as long as I can remember. In 2018 I decided it was finally time to write about it, and thus this website was born.

  1. I am excited for this one. Hopefully, it’s better than the last 2 Cindy Bubsy movies. It doesn’t see as Fall-themed as the last Fall Harvest movies.

    1. This film was not one of my favorites. To me, the plot seemed slow and disjointed. I enjoyed Marshall Williams in Glee; however, his harsh, slicked-back hair and youthful appearance in this film made me think I was watching a character in Twilight, rather than a Hallmark leading man.

  2. As a long-time Hallmark Movies and HMM fan I was so taken aback by the poor quality of the acting, script and production I stopped watching after the first hour. Cindy Busby deserves better than to be paired with the downright icky dudes she has played opposite in the hot air balloon movie and the Daisy Hills movie. What is happening to Hallmark movies these days? Downward spiral toward almost a “reality TV” type presentation. If I wanted to watch people having serious SERIOUS fights and looking like hags or homeless, acting like shrews or middle schoolers, I guess I would be watching reality TV. Like many viewers I count on Hallmark to deliver well written, well produced escapism from what is daily life in America these days. Lately I’ve been very disappointed in the quality of the productions, the scripts, the editing, and the acting to the point where I’m reading real reviews first before I waste my time.
