Knowing that Stan Spry is one of the executive producers of this movie makes me very excited to see it. He has been involved with so many of my favorites in the past couple of years, and I’m really looking forward to this week’s Spring Fling movie!
“Fashionably Yours,” debuts this Saturday evening, April 11 at 9 p.m. ET on the Hallmark Channel. It co-stars the gorgeous Kat Graham (who I believe has not aged a day since her first episode of “The Vampire Diaries” in 2009). Her co-star, Kendrick Sampson, has also appeared on “TVD” in addition to other shows like “Gracepoint” and “The Flash.”
The movie’s screenplay is by Nicole Avril with an apparently assist by Nicole Baxter. Avril is responsible for 2018’s “Under the Autumn Moon” while Baxter has been involved with many more Hallmark movies, including “Love at the Shore,” “Our Christmas Long Song,” and the 2nd Christmas at Graceland movie. “Fashionably” is directed by Nimisha Mujkerji, who is relatively new to Hallmark, with one Chronicle Mystery from 2019 listed on her iMDb page.
Here is the plot of “Fashionably Yours:”
Fashion organizer Lauren (Graham)decides to move back home after missing out on a promotion at her job in Seattle. Rob (Sampson), the owner of the moving company she hires, attempts to help her see the beauty of Seattle and all it has to offer before she leaves town. He becomes her tour guide for the next two weeks leading up to her move and Lauren discovers there is a lot to fall in love with in Seattle.
I like the sound of this plotline. It’s not a typical Hallmark plotline and sounds like it’ll be a love letter to Seattle, which I think is nice. Add in two downright BEAUTIFUL leads, and an executive producer that I 100% trust to pick good projects, and I think this will be a winner.
And here’s a sneak peek clip of what we can expect on Saturday night:
